October 6th through October 12th is Fire Prevention Week. This week is a great reminder to focus on fire safety. This year's theme, "Smoke Alarms: Make them work for you!™," highlights the importance of having working smoke alarms, especially for seniors who face a higher risk of fire-related dangers. It's important to ensure that smoke alarms are installed, tested, and well-maintained. We encourage you to make an evacuation plan and participate in fire drills to be prepared.
