Subsidized Independent Living at Christian Care Manors
We provide HUD-subsidized independent living for seniors in a well-kept, peaceful environment. Conveniently located in the heart of north-central Phoenix, we are on the same campus as Christian Care Health Center and Fellowship Square Phoenix - on the west side of 19th Avenue, a few miles south of Cactus Road.
Please note: our Manors I & II Independent Living waitlist is three (3) years.

Qualifying for HUD-Subsidized Independent Living for Seniors
The waitlist for our Independent Living apartments is currently three years. If you want to be placed on the waitlist, please complete the HUD Senior Housing application below. For your convenience, we have uploaded a printer-friendly version of the application packet so you can easily print or share it!

Admission Qualifications:
- The household's annual income may not exceed the very low-income limits set by the U.S. Dept. of HUD for the present year. For 2025*, the very low-income limits for Maricopa County, set by HUD, are $39,300 for a single person and $44,850 for a couple. (HUDUser.gov)
- The applicant agrees to pay the rent required by the subsidiary program under which the applicant will be admitted. (Residents typically pay 30% of their adjusted income for rent and utilities).
- The unit will be the family's only residence.
- The head of household or co-head of household must be 62 years of age or older.
