To Be a Great Company...
Our beliefs are the core of who we are as a company, a senior living community. These beliefs don’t change with the ebbs and flows of life; they aren’t adjusted or compromised to accommodate a changing market. They are embedded into our culture; they are not negotiable:
To Be A Great Company…
To create a great company, we must all put service before self. We must be people-focused, we must value service to others and we must accept that we have a responsibility to be good stewards of the influence we have been given.
To be a great company, we must be humble and compassionate leaders who are deeply involved with our business and our people.
To be a great company, we must ensure that every employee is treated with respect. They must be given the opportunity to do meaningful work. We must live the “Golden Rule”.
To be a great company, we must recognize that our customers are the life-blood of our business. They generate our revenue, pay our salaries, and keep the lights on. We must recognize that our campus is their home. We have the privilege of working for them every day!
To be a great company, we must have leaders who lead from the heart. People will never care how much you know, until they know how much you care! Servant leaders never abuse, humiliate, or devalue people. Servant Leaders, encourage, motivate, and build others up.
To be a great company, we must lead by example every day. We must BELIEVE that we become stronger and more effective as leaders and as an organization when we SERVE!
Our Challenge…
The challenge for us, as employees of Christian Care and Fellowship Square, is to be more intentional in our service to others. The way we treat each other, and the way we treat our customers, determines our success as a company.
The challenge for us as leaders is to place the needs of our team above our own. It is a great privilege to lead others, and it requires the sacrifice of self-interest. You must create an environment where employees feel safe and have a sense of belonging. Leaders establish the standards and set the example.
The challenge for us as a company is to create a culture where people thrive; a culture that embraces Strength and Independence; a culture that exudes Christian Love and Excellence. Our challenge is to recognize the immeasurable value of every person. People are the lifeblood of our business. We will joyfully serve with humility, integrity, compassion, and respect.
