Fellowship Square Surprise is part of the Christian Care family of senior living communities.
Christian Care was founded in 1979, by a group of Christians who saw a need for affordable nursing care for seniors in Arizona. Realizing this need, they formed a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and named it Christian Care.
Christian Care Health Center was the first to open its doors in 1980. Today, Christian Care Companies operates six retirement communities across Arizona. And while each community differs slightly in the level of care and services they offer, they are all guided by the same mission:
"Through Christian love and excellence, we are dedicated to providing a fulfilling lifestyle and promoting independence to those we serve."
Determining the best level of care for your or your loved one depends on factors such as health status, level of independence, and specific needs for daily assistance (if applicable).
Assisted Living is ideal for seniors who need extra support with their activities of daily living but who do not require 24-hour skilled nursing care. Residents receive increased assistance in their day-to-day lives and a higher level of care than what is available in Independent Living.
At The Oasis Assisted Living, we provide three different levels of Assisted Living services: Supervisory Care, Personal Care, and Direct Care. Our Memory Care neighborhood, Reflections, is a secure unit located within The Oasis building.
Yes, we are a pet-friendly retirement community!
In Independent Living, we allow one pet per apartment (50 pounds or less), and a refundable pet fee will apply. Residents must provide pet vaccination and registration information to be kept with their residency file.
Pets are not allowed in Assisted Living, however, four-legged visitors* are always welcome!
When seniors begin researching retirement communities, understanding the cost of senior living is undoubtedly one of the top considerations.
In most retirement communities, monthly rent covers meals, maintenance, landscaping, and housekeeping. However, when comparing the costs of your current living situation to the cost of senior living, it’s essential also to consider the intrinsic benefits of congregate living—being part of a community, being surrounded by a network of neighbors and supportive services, and knowing you aren’t alone.
We encourage you to visit our Senior Living Cost Calculator page to help you with your budget comparisons.
Yes, rental rates increase every January 1st.
Our Board of Directors and Organizational Leadership consider many factors when making this decision, including overhead expenses, capital expenditures, government mandates, market conditions, and affordability. They are fully committed to our organization's Mission, Vision, and Values – all three of which play a role in their analysis.
